  • Manchester United is reportedly finalizing a deal to capture Daishawn Redan, a fast rising starlet with the Netherlands youth team; the starlet has been in excellent form recently scoring forty-four goals in a single season.
The English Premier League outfit, who triumphed over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night by 2-1 at Selhurst to record straight top-flight wins, have been deeply linked with a move for the sought-after Ajax center forward.
The teenage wonder displays incredible talent and has impressively netted five goals in only six games for the Netherland’s Under-17 team; he has arrived at the Theatre of Dreams’ training ground in Carrington ahead of his anticipated transfer to Old Trafford.
Redan, who will turn 16 in February 2017, has been with Eredivisie Amsterdam-based outfit Ajax since he was only eight-years-old.
During his first season, he netted a very impressive 44 goals, and he repeated this impressive goal haul during the 2013-14 league season for the Ajax Under-14 squad.
His prolific rate of goal scoring for the Dutch side’s youth team has seen Ajax management act swiftly and table an offer of a contract for the forward, but it appears like Manchester United are set to capture him from under the nose of the Amsterdam side.
The young prodigy could become the next Ajax starlet to be lured to Manchester United in recent years. His arrival will mean he is following in the steps of Timothy Fosu Mensah and Millen Baars, with the former already making seventeen first-team appearances for Red Devils since his arrival to the club back in 2014.
Redan could prove himself to be a replica of a countryman, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, became a cult-hero for the Old Trafford side during his stay with the club by scoring lots of goals to help United win important matches and trophies.
